About Me

I have never had any formal education in ITC.   Everything I know, derives from necessity and self taught interest.  I use my own PC as a tool to gain knowledge.  I have sorted out a few problems on my PC by just googling the issue.   Terms such as WAN, LAN etc are all familiar to me yet, curiously I have never sort their clarification.  It was great to get the run down and history of the internet and computers.  I have a practical, working knowledge, rather than an educated one.

I am  looking forward to creating and exploring a website and understanding the processes required to do so!

    Hi Samara,

Got a grip on Fireworks eventually, after our session last week. It works on my iMac (I found the Expanded view), though can be slow at times. I spent hours making my rollover buttons on Friday evening – after several attempts (and numerous versions of the buttons), I finally resorted to the INSTRUCTIONS (I used the online video tutorial for making them in Fireworks) – SO easy! Arghh.
The menu bar is the most impressive part of my website! Have yet to find out about making separate external CSS files.

See you next week – presentation night! I expect gasps of awe when I roll over my buttons.

      Hi Jo.
I have spent about 100000000000000 hours on this thing. It is not as polished as I would have liked, however, it works and it is FINISHED.
Looking forward to seeing them all. (Not looking forward to presenting.)
      Cheers,
      S
